Rebel Moon, a Netflix film directed by Zack Snyder, has finished filming.

Zack Snyder announced the completion of main photography for his Netflix film Rebel Moon over the weekend on his official Vero profile. Snyder’s statement was accompanied by a preview of the film, which gave viewers their first glimpse at one of Bae Doona’s characters.
In the past, Zack Snyder has claimed that Rebel Moon was first conceived as his interpretation of the Seven Samurai tale set in the Star Wars galaxy.
It has since been repurposed as a component of its own unique cinematic universe and combined with Army of the Dead, which made its Netflix premiere last year, it may soon represent the start of yet another genre film series.
In addition to Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Djimon Hounsou, Jena Malone, Corey Stoll, Ed Skrein, Cleopatra Coleman, and Fra Fee will feature in Rebel Moon, directed by Zack Snyder. Other cast includes Cary Elwes, Anthony Hopkins, Stuart Martin, Alfonso Herrera, Michiel Huisman, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi, Sky Yang, and Rhian Rees.
Although a release date for Rebel Moon is still pending, it is anticipated to appear on Netflix sometime in 2023.
