
XO, Kitty, Netflix’s upcoming To All the Boys spinoff series, has added nine new cast members. Choi Min-yeong (Dream Palace), Anthony Keyvan (Love, Victor), Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald (Players), and Regan Aliyah (Dream Palace) are among the new series regulars (Club Mickey Mouse). They’ll be seen opposite Anna Cathcart, who plays the titular character. Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild, co-showrunners and executive producers, are behind the project.
Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey (Cathcart) believes she knows all there is to know about love in the series. When she travels halfway across the world to be with her long-distance boyfriend, she discovers that relationships are far more complicated when your heart is at stake.
Choi will play Dae, while Keyvan will play Q, Kim will play Yuri, Lee will play Min Ho, Thurnwald will play Alex, and Aliyah will play Juliana. Yunjin Kim (Lost), Michael K. Lee, and Jocelyn Shelfo join the cast as recurring characters (The Summer I Turned Pretty). Jina, Professor Lee, and Madison will all be played by them.
XO, Kitty has begun filming in Seoul, South Korea, with Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora scheduled to direct this season, according to Netflix.
Han, Rothchild, and Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment serve as executive producers. Awesomeness Studios and ACE Entertainment are behind the series.
