David Letterman‘s Netflix talk show will make a comeback with fresh episodes later this month, and the entire roster of guests has been disclosed. This is the fourth season of the three-time Emmy Award-nominated series, which has been titled My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman. Season 4 will be available to watch starting on Friday, 20th May.
As the title indicates, the show places a strong emphasis on bringing in guests who are already well-known. In the fourth season’s six episodes, Will Smith appears as a guest, which is important given the current scandal that has surrounded the Oscar winner. Season 4 will also have Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Kevin Durant, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Ryan Reynolds as guests.
While this is Smith’s first appearance on a talk show since his notorious Oscars slap, the incident will not be covered on My Next Guest. The episodes were shot prior to March and before the Oscars, when Smith slapped Chris Rock over a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith.
The series is hosted by David Letterman. Tom Keaney and Mary Barclay of Worldwide Pants are executive producers; Brooke Posch, Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, and John Skidmore of Jax Media; and Justin Wilkes and Michael Steed are among executive producers.
