During the show’s Saturday panel at New York Comic Con, a new teaser for Netflix’s forthcoming Addams Family series Wednesday was shown, including first views at Fred Armisen and Christina Ricci‘s appearances.
The macabre high school experience that awaits Wednesday is outlined in the show’s official almost three-minute first look, while Armisen’s Uncle Fester and Ricci’s Nevermore lecturer Miss Thornhill are also teased.
Described as a coming-of-age comedy with a supernatural twist, Wednesday is an eight-episode television series. Together with Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, and George Burcea as Lurch, Jenna Ortega (Yes Day) will play the main lead in the live-action series.
On November 23, Wednesday will be available on Netflix, just in time for Thanksgiving. View the trailer down below.
