According to one of the startled bad men in the most recent Violent Night video, this is not your typical mall Santa.

The trailer for this “coal-dark” action comedy starring David Harbour (Stranger Things), in which a family is being held hostage on Christmas Eve by a squad of mercenaries, has just been published by Universal.
John Leguizamo portrays the primary antagonist in the Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola’s (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) film Violent Night. Cam Gigandet, Alexis Louder, and Edi Patterson, Alex Hassell, and Beverly D’Angelo. The original screenplay was written by Casey and Josh Miller (Sonic the Hedgehog), with Marc S. Fischer serving as executive producer. Guy Danella, David Leitch, and Kelly McCormick of 87North are among the film’s producers.
Don’t anticipate It’s A Wonderful Life from 87North; their past movies include Nobody, John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
Universal Pictures will release the film in every country. Violent Night will have its world debut on December 2.
