
Vanessa Hudgens is tapped to host the MTV Movie & TV Awards in 2022.
On Sunday, June 5, the actress who recently featured with Andrew Garfield in Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s Tick, Tick…Boom! will host the ceremony, which will be broadcast live from Barker Hangar.
Previous to that, Hudgens was the host of the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time special in the year 2020.
In addition to her breakthrough performance in High School Musical, Hudgens is well recognized for her roles in Spring Breakers, The Princess Switch series, Second Act, Bad Boys for Life, and The Knight Before Christmas.
In the forthcoming film Big Rig, she is slated to portray a young mother who discovers a new lease on life as a truck driver.
With seven nominations, Spider-Man: No Way Home leads this year’s MTV Movie & TV Awards race, followed by Euphoria with six and The Batman with four.
The MTV Movie & TV Awards is set to be broadcast at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, BET, Comedy Central, MTV2, Paramount Network, and VH1.
