Netflix is undoubtedly the most popular streaming service available, and they’ve been experimenting with their own game programs in recent years, such as Floor is Lava. Now, the business has unveiled its newest game show, Trivia Quest, which is based on Etermax’s successful competition trivia app, Trivia Crack. This game show will begin on April 1st, and it will be Netflix’s first daily interactive series.

“Throughout the month, one new episode will be available every day,” according to the series (30 total). Each episode has 24 questions (12 easy and 12 difficult) on a variety of subjects such as science, history, entertainment, sports, art, and geography.” This will essentially be a larger-scale version of the app, and Netflix has also produced a teaser for the series.
The trailer dives into the main story of Willy, who needs our aid to save his Trivia Land pals from the villainous Rocky, who wants all of the information for himself, and we do so by answering numerous trivia questions in both regular and hard levels. The more questions successfully answered, the easier it will be to obtain the 10 knowledge keys that will allow Willy’s pals to be freed. The trailer also mentions that we may go back and repeat episodes to get the newest knowledge key and go on to the next episode if we answer questions incorrectly. Rocky gives a wicked diatribe towards the end of the film, and we get a humorous appearance from Demongorgon from Stranger Things, who comically signals to Rocky to speed up his evil plot.
Sunday Sauce Productions’ Daniel Calin and Vin Rubino will also produce the series. Trivia Quest will be available on any device that supports it, including tablets, smartphones, smart TVs, and gaming consoles.
When the initial Trivia Crack app was published in 2013, it was a huge sensation, and since then it has generated a slew of sequels, items (including a board game), and an animated series. As a result, it’s understandable that Netflix would want to try something new with an established brand like this. The series was notorious for being quite addictive at its peak, and it will be intriguing to see whether this new interactive series can replicate that addictive spirit. Given that it appears to be entirely voice acted, this looks to be a pretty charming series with great production standards based on the trailer alone. With the Demogorgon making an appearance, it’s reasonable to assume that we’ll see more characters from other Netflix shows. Trivia Quest is set to release on April 1, 2022, and you can check out the entire colorful video below.
