This summer, fans of the Transformers franchise will be able to see and re-experience the brand’s first live-action feature in cinemas. Fathom Events is hosting a re-release of the big summer hit for two days only on July 10 and 14. This comes on the heels of the film’s 15th anniversary. Fathom Events is no stranger to the Transformers brand, having previously exhibited re-releases of the cult classic animated feature The Transformers: The Movie in 2018 and 2021, respectively, to commemorate the franchise’s 35th anniversary.

Transformers is based on Hasbro’s Transformers action toys and directed by Michael, who employs his unique style to produce an action-packed, fast-paced picture that demands to be seen on the widest screen possible. The film, which was first aired in the summer of 2007, enthralled audiences across the world and introduced a new generation of children to the ongoing fight between the heroic Autobots and the villainous Decepticons.

The popularity of Transformers spawned a cinematic series that included four further films directed by Bay, a Bumblebee spinoff/reboot directed by Travis Knight, and a new film, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, directed by Steven Caple Jr. Transformers: The Coaster, an action-packed thrill ride, was also introduced to Universal Studios resorts. Audiences can now go back to the beginning thanks to Fathom Events’ presentation of the original film.
On July 10 and 14, Transformers will be released in select cinemas.
