Tom Cruise unveiled the official title of Mission: Impossible 7 at Paramount’s CinemaCon panel today.
Cruise teased that the seventh film would be titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. As a result, the 2024 sequel, will be titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two. Both installments will come out on July 14, 2023 and June 28, 2024.
Returning cast members Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Ving Rhames, and Henry Czerny, as well as newcomers Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, and Esai Morales, who will take on the role of the villain in lieu of Nicholas Hoult, will join Cruise and Atwell on the next Mission: Impossible.
The success of the previous two films, both critically and commercially, prompted writer/director Christopher McQuarrie to sign a contract with the studio to return to write and helm the following two films in the series.
