Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi revealed a Dwayne Johnson-related Easter egg.
In Thor: Love and Thunder, not only does Taika Waititi reprise his role as Korg, but he also returns to the director’s chair. In the movie, He sets out to stop Gorr the God Butcher with the titular God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth), King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) (Christian Bale). As predicted, Korg is engaged in some of the film’s larger comedy, and a particular sequence towards the conclusion of the film is an example of this, given that it makes reference to Dwayne Johnson.
Taika Waititi’s Korg finishes his story towards the film’s conclusion, and he also discloses that he meets his own significant other in Dwayne at some time. On his Twitter, director Taika Waititi revealed that this was a nod to Dwayne Johnson when a fan shared funny fan art:
