Thor: Love and Thunder doesn’t come out for another two weeks, but fans are already wondering when they’ll see the characters again. Interestingly, Taika Waititi is also curious, and he is hopeful that Valkyrie and Korg will receive their own spin-off projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Valkyrie and Korg are two characters who debuted in Thor: Ragnarok and would go on to become some of the MCU’s most famous characters. Fortunately, both characters return in Thor: Love and Thunder, but it appears that Taika Waititi has greater plans for them.
Taika Waititi recently spoke with Fandom about his hopes for the Thor: Love and Thunder spin-off projects. Waititi, interestingly, wants to see the characters he established in the MCU earn their own spin-offs.
We like the notion of Valkyrie and Korg having their own initiatives. After all, there is still so much we could discover about these characters. Keeping this in mind, we’d love to see these two receive their own TV program or film in the future.
Since making their debuts in Thor: Ragnarok, Valkyrie, and Korg have come a long way. Both made appearances in Avengers: Endgame and one even took part in the film’s pivotal conflict. These characters undoubtedly merit further attention, and we’re hopeful Marvel Studios will concur that Valkyrie and Korg’s narrative merits additional investigation.
Taika Waititi, who also stars as Korg in the movie Thor: Love and Thunder, is the director. Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Tessa Thompson, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and Chris Hemsworth all appear in the film. The movie’s debut is scheduled for July 8, 2022.
