The Witcher: Blood Origin, Netflix’s upcoming prequel miniseries, has released its first trailer.

The miniseries will begin streaming on December 25. The star-studded trio of Michelle Yeoh, Sophia Brown, and Laurence O’Fuarain may be seen in the Blood Origin trailer.
In the video, Yeoh’s Scan defeats O’Fuarain and Brown’s characters, teaching them a lesson, and the Golden Globe nominee uses the opportunity to display her martial arts prowess.
Three different characters will lead The Witcher: Blood Origin: Laurence O’Fuarain, who previously starred in Vikings, as Fjall, Michelle Yeoh, who previously starred in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, as Scan, and Sophia Brown, who previously starred in Giri/Haji and Marcella, as Éile, an elite warrior endowed with the voice of a goddess.
Minnie Driver, Lenny Henry, Mirren Mack, Nathaniel Curtis, Dylan Moran, Jacob Collins-Levy, Huw Novelli, Francesca Mills, Zach Wyatt, Lizzie Annis, and Amy Murray are among the supporting actors who appear alongside the principal actors.
Declan de Barra, the showrunner and executive producer of The Witcher: Blood Origin, will oversee production. Vicky Jewson and Sarah O’Gorman will serve as the directors. Executive producers include Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who created The Witcher, Jason Brown, Sean Daniel, and Tomek Baginski & Jarek Sawko from Platige Films. The series will have Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski on board as a creative consultant.
