The trailer for Pete Davidson‘s Marmaduke film was just dropped by Netflix. Pete Davidson takes the role of the iconic comics character. Legacy Classic and Andrew McMeel Entertainment are working to produce this project. In the animated film, Marmaduke makes an effort to join the Westminster dog show, but unluckily, he keeps facing problems. If that weren’t enough, the pup has contested. Zeus, a powerful opponent for Marmaduke, is played by J.K. Simmons. It will be exciting to witness Davidson getting out of Simmons’ comedic style. It is a fact that this show includes a ton of talented voice actors. David Koechner from The Office, Shelby Young, and Jason Anthony will also be included.
Regarding the production of the movie, Mar A.Z. Dippé will serve as director with Matt Phillip Whelan and the script for Marmaduke was penned by Byron Kavanaugh. Storyberry is conducting the animation steps on the Netflix film. Although fans are obviously familiar with the Owen Wilson movie back in 2010, this appears to go in a different direction. Marmaduke was made by Brad Anderson back in 1954 and harshly passed away in 2015. Davidson is coming to confront the challenge of various projects from Saturday Night Live.
