Zachary Levi and a large portion of the Shazam! Fury of the Gods made an appearance in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con to promote the sequel to David F. Sandberg’s 2019 feature. We get our first glimpse at Levi, his Shazam Family (or Shazamily), and the adversaries performed by Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu in this trailer. We also get a first glimpse at West Side Story newcomer Rachel Zegler.

Naturally, many people are hoping for a movie where the two adored DC heroes square off as Black Adam and Shazam are both expected to have movies released this year. Based on the previews and Comic-Con footage for Dwayne Johnson’s much-anticipated movie, it’s safe to conclude that Zachary Levi and his Shazamfamily will confront a formidable challenge. They could require the help of a specific Kryptonian.
