DC Studios has recently come under fire for internal changes, and this could lead to a streaming conflict between Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery CEO over The Sandman Season 2, one of the recently renewed comic book shows.

The Sandman has been a great sensation on Netflix, and when the series was extended by the streaming service, everyone was ecstatic. But this rejuvenation can also be the same cause of a potential streaming war in the near future.
According to a report, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, is not pleased with the DC titles being available on Netflix because of the payment terms, given that the agreements with Netflix are set up to pay the producers over a period of 18 to 24 months.
Where does Season 2 of The Sandman fit into the problem? Coming from a DC comic, the show’s renewal for a second season might herald a coming streaming conflict.
According to reports, Zaslav also voiced his colleagues’ anger with the company, which caused quite a stir online in the form of controversies, rumors, and guesses. Whether this would cause turmoil is something that might perhaps happen soon.
There is currently no release date for The Sandman Season 2. Netflix is presently offering Season 1 for streaming.
