A brand-new clip from The Sandman, the much-awaited fantasy series based on Neil Gaiman’s well-known DC comic book series, has been released by Netflix ahead of its scheduled premiere tomorrow. Tom Sturridge plays the title character in it.

The video, which you can see below, gives us our first glimpse at Mervyn Pumpkinhead, who is being portrayed by Mark Hamill, a seasoned Star Wars actor. It emphasizes the difficulties Morpheus will experience when he finally returns to The Dreaming after spending years in jail.
The project features Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Asim Chaudhry, Charles Dance, Sanjeev Bhaskar, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Jenna Coleman, David Thewlis, Joely Richardson, Stephen Fry, Patton Oswalt, and Mark Hamill.
The show witnessed the attendance of Wonder Woman co-writer Allan Heinberg as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Besides working as writers, Neil Gaiman and David S. Goyer are also serving as executive producers.
