
An absolutely new original scripted (and unscripted) series, The Quest, is being added by Disney+, to its already incredible library on May 11. Academy Award and Emmy-winning creatives behind projects such as The Lord of the Rings, Queer Eye, and The Amazing Race, will bring the series to life.
In Disney+ new game show, reality and fantasy will be combined. Eight contestants, or Paladins, will be brought into the fantasy world of Everealm: a mystical spot of unrivaled picturesque beauty and strong magic. In order to complete an ancient Everealm prophecy, the Paladins must work together, helping the Fates defeat the Sorceress. Their own inner hero will be discovered after each challenge and the land balance is also recovered. Kingdoms will unravel; additionally, heroes will be created in this compelling new series.
Both scripted and unscripted elements will be brought to this show, which adds to the immersive characteristic of the competition. In a fully realized world with immersive scenes and characters, teenage competitors will contest against each other in challenges on an exciting adventure. Many unexpected things happen around them when they participate in the test. Their course and the fate of Everealm are determined by every selection and task.

Some representatives from renowned production companies including Court Five’s Jane Fleming and Mark Ordesky (Lord of the Rings) serve as executive producers of the series. Furthermore, New Media Collective’s Bertram van Munster, Mark Dziak (The Amazing Race), and Elise Doganieri are other executive producers along with Scout Production Inc.’s Rob Eric, Michael Williams, and David Collins (Queer Eye).
With such a talented team, this immersive fantasy epic hopefully sets an initial spin on the game show format. The backdrop is the imaginary world of Everealm and contestants’ challenges are entertaining, it is certain that The Quest is a magic ride for the whole family.
