
The Lost City, a comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, is slated to premiere on Paramount+ on May 10 in the United States and Canada. To markets Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy, it is set to be available to stream later this year.
The film revolves around reclusive romance writer Loretta Sage (Bullock) on a book tour with her cover model Alan Caparison (Tatum), as the duo gets caught up in an abduction attempt that leads them on a treacherous jungle adventure. The unusual couple is thrown into an epic thrill trip through the jungle, where they must work together to survive the elements and each other in order to locate the city’s mythical treasure before it is lost for good.
Daniel Radcliffe, Oscar Nuñez, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Patti Harrison, and Bowen Yang also join the film’s cast.
To far, the film’s international debut on March 25 has brought in over $162 million in box office receipts.
The Lost City is helmed by Adam Nee & Aaron Nee, written by Oren Uziel & Dana Fox & Adam Nee & Aaron Nee, with a narrative by Seth Gordon. Sandra Bullock, Liza Chasin, and Seth Gordon are behind the picture’s production, while JJ Hook, Julia Gunn, Dana Fox, and Margaret Chernin serve as executive producers.
