Eight more performers have joined The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Amazon.

Eight additional recurring cast members have been added to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power‘s roster for the upcoming second season. Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo, and Calam Lynch have all been cast in the Amazon series. Their functions are kept a secret.

Ahead of the second season, which is now being produced in the UK, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has been growing its cast.
However, Sam Hazeldine has taken the position of Joseph Mawle, who played the Adar in The Rings of Power.
Amazon has invested much in the development of its Lord of the Rings series and has high expectations for it. The corporation has pledged to fund a 5-season production schedule for The Rings of Power, which is said to be worth at least $1 billion.
Amazon Studios is collaborating with the Tolkien Estate and Trust, HarperCollins, and New Line Cinema to develop The Rings of Power. J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, are the show’s executive producers and showrunners.
The cast of the television program also features Robert Aramayo, Megan Richards, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Tom Budge, Morfydd Clark, and Ema Horvath. Other cast members include Markella Kavenagh, Tyroe Muhafidin, Sophia Nomvete, Dylan Smith, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charlie Vickers, and Daniel Weyman.
