Little is known about Amazon Studios’ long-awaited The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, but new details of the upcoming TV series adapted from The Lord of the Rings of J.R.R. Tolkien have just been unveiled by Amazon. It stands to reason that when you invest upwards of billion on a TV series that you are contractually bound to create for at least five seasons, you obviously want to draw as much attention as possible from it.

The studio today rolled out two new images and two new character names for the impending series, which will be officially named The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Check out a look at Theo played by Tyroe Muhafidin in the image above. Additionally, below is Bronwyn, as portrayed by Nazanin Boniadi:

Although almost nothing is known about the two characters, their respective photos show Theo clutching some sort of staff while Bronwyn is seen gazing out over a little river in the other. Thus yet, it is unknown who these characters are, with big fans already guessing Theo’s true identity.

Fortunately for fans, their wait will be over soon, since The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is slated to come out later this year, on September 2, 2022.
