At San Diego Comic-Con, Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power launched its promotional tour. At New York Comic-Con, it is coming to a close with the release of the season one finale teaser for the episode that will air on Friday, October 14 at 12 am EDT.
While promising that at least some heroes “will fall” and Sauron’s actual identity will eventually be exposed, the teaser covers many of the most significant events from the first season.

The events in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power take place tens of thousands of years before those in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
During the series’ debut weekend, the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power had over 25 million views. The Rings of Power ranked first on Nielsen’s overall and original streaming charts with 1.25 billion minutes streamed in the United States during (or during) its launch weekend, according to another Nielsen report. It is the first time a Prime Video series has started at No. 1 on the Nielsen list, and The Rings of Power was the only series to surpass 1 billion minutes of streaming for the week.
