
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has unveiled a second teaser for followers of the J.R.R. Tolkien property ahead of its presentation at Comic-Con the following week.
Isildur (Maxim Baldry), Pharazôn (Trystan Gravelle), Elendil (Lloyd Owen), and Queen Regent Mriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) are just a few of the characters from the island kingdom of Númenor that can be seen in the new two-minute, 30-second teaser trailer for the Prime Video series. Kemen (Leon Wadham) and Eärien (Ema Horvath) also appear.
The eight-part series’ domains, such as the elf realms of Lindon and Eregion, the dwarven realm of Khazad-dûm, the Southlands, the Northernmost Wastes, the Sundering Seas, and the island kingdom of Nmenór, are also hinted at in the trailer. The series’ latest teaser also reveals Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), Elanor ‘Nori’ Brandyfoot (Markella Kavenagh), Poppy Proudfellow (Megan Richards), High King Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker), Elrond (Robert Aramayo), the Harfoots Marigold Brandyfoot (Sara Zwangobani), and Sadoc Burrows (Sir Lenny Henry), The Stranger (Daniel Weyman), the Dwarves King Durin III (Peter Mullan) and Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur), Halbrand (Charlie Vickers), and Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova).
On Friday, September 2, Prime Video will debut the epic series in more than 240 nations and territories, with fresh episodes coming out every week. On Saturday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m. PDT, a panel discussion with the cast and creators of the program J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay will take place in Hall H.
The showrunners and executive producers of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power are Payne and McKay. They are joined by producers Christopher Newman and Ron Ames, as well as executive producers Callum Greene, Gennifer Hutchison, Lindsey Weber, Belén Atienza, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill, J.A. Bayona, Sharon Tal Yguado, and Bruce Richmond. Co-executive producer and director alongside J.A. Bayona and Charlotte Brändström is Wayne Che Yip.
