The star of The Last of Us premiere that stands out is Nico Parker.

After The Last of Us Episode 1 crashed HBO as users attempted to watch the premiere, there is little doubt that it will go down in history. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype and established the tone for the series. The show focused on Joel and Ellie as was to be expected, but Nico Parker’s outstanding performance made Sarah Miller into the character that fans are screaming about.
In the opening 33 minutes of The Last of Us Episode 1, when the narrative is told from the perspective of the girl, Sarah is introduced to us. At first glance, Sarah seemed to be going about her usual day-to-day activities, such as attending school and socializing with her neighbors, but she also goes above and beyond to give her father Joel a special birthday present. The zombie apocalypse was looming all around her as this was happening, and her part of the story finishes with one of the most tragic deaths in recent memory.
People are raving about how Nico Parker helped them fall in love with Sarah, even though she only appears in the first part of the episode.
Nico Parker comes from an artistic family, if you’re like the majority of admirers who are curious about the gifted young actor. Mamma Mia is her dad! While you may have seen her mother Thandiwe Newton in Westworld and Solo: A Star Wars Story, Here We Go Again director Oliver Parker.
Parker has so far only made cameos in a few films, including as Tim Burton’s Dumbo and 2021’s Reminiscence, where she co-starred with her mother. We do anticipate seeing more of Parker in the future, though, after her outstanding performance in The Last of Us.
HBO Max is now offering the first episode of The Last of Us. On January 22, 2023, the second episode, named Infected, will make its debut.
