The first trailer for Netflix’s highly anticipated action film The Gray Man has been released. The film stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans and is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who are also the director of the famous Avengers: Endgame. On July 15, it will be released in select cinemas, followed by its streaming launch on July 22.

The Gray Man is a film adaptation of the novel written by Mark Greaney in 2009 and revolves around a character called Court Gentry who is a freelance assassin and a former CIA agent. Due to his own agency’s treachery, he has been forced to live the life of a fugitive. The action-thriller adaption is billed as a lethal fight between murderers as Gentry is chased throughout the world by Lloyd Hansen, a former colleague of Gentry’s at the CIA.
Besides Gosling and Evans, Jessica Henwick, Ana de Armas, Alfre Woodard, Wagner Moura, Regé-Jean Page, Julia Butters, Billy Bob Thornton, Dhanush, Eme Ikwuakor, Scott Haze, Calla Mulvey, Robert Kazinsky, Michael Gandolfini, Sam Lerner, and DeObia Oparei round out the film’s cast.
An estimated budget of $200 million has been put up for the project’s goal of creating a “James Bond-level” franchise.
