A behind-the-scenes featurette for The Gray Man, an upcoming action star-studded thriller starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas, has been released by Netflix. Today marks the day when the movie is released in select cinemas, followed by its streaming release on July 22.

The Gray Man featurette, which you can see below, has an abundance of new footage highlighting the film’s death-defying action scenes. It also features commentary from The Russo Brothers and the actors discussing the film’s characters and nonstop action.
Court Gentry, a freelance assassin and former CIA operative, is the protagonist of The Gray Man, which is based on Mark Greaney’s 2009 novel. As a result of his own agency’s betrayal, he has been obliged to become a fugitive. The action-thriller adaptation is described as a deadly battle between killers, with Gentry being hunted all across the world by Lloyd Hansen, Gentry’s old CIA partner.
Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, Wagner Moura, Alfre Woodard, Jessica Henwick, Julia Butters, Scott Haze, Dhanush, Billy Bob Thornton, Eme Ikwuakor, Michael Gandolfini, Calla Mulvey, Robert Kazinsky, Sam Lerner, and DeObia Oparei will appear in the film with Gosling and Evans.
Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously directed Avengers: Endgame, are directing The Gray Man. The script was written by Joe Russo and AGBO’s Co-Presidents of Story and Marvel Cinematic Universe writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and it was “finalized” by AGBO’s Co-Presidents of Story and MCU writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. The project’s objective is to create a “James Bond-level” blockbuster with a projected $200 million budget.
The Russo Brothers and Mike Larocca for AGBO, as well as Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum for Roth Kirschenbaum, are producing the picture.
