With several Marvel Studios films becoming delayed, Disney is rearranging its release calendar.
On September 6, 2024, the Blade movie is currently scheduled to premiere. Prior to recently losing director Bassam Tariq, the project’s original opening date was set for November 3, 2023. The release date of Fantastic Four has been delayed by four months to February 14, 2025, while Deadpool 3 has been pushed back from September 6, 2024, to November 8, 2024.
As Marvel continues to look for a director for the movie, Avengers: Secret Wars has also been postponed by seven months. Secret Wars, which will wrap up the Marvel Multiverse Saga, is now set for May 1st, 2026. The release date for its predecessor, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, has not changed.
A Marvel Studios unnamed project that was scheduled to debut in February 2025 has now been pushed back to November 7. The project’s subject matter is presently unknown.
Disney has set a date for the development of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes at 20th Century Studios in addition to the Marvel Studios release modifications. The picture, which started shooting this week at Disney Studios Australia, will be released in theaters on May 24, 2024.
