The Expendables 4 has finally received a release date. Lionsgate has scheduled the long-awaited sequel for release on September 22, 2023, after years of production. Given that Warner Bros. has also planned an undisclosed DC movie to launch on the same day, it may have some tough competition. According to Deadline, the studio has set three release dates for 2023. The Sebastian Maniscalco drama About My Father, starring Robert De Niro, will be released on May 26, and an unnamed comedy film will be released on June 23.
The Expendables 4 is directed by Scott Waugh, with a screenplay by Spenser Cohen and Max Adams. Kevin King-Templeton, Yariv Lerner, and Les Weldon are the producers of the movie. Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Randy Couture, and Dolph Lundgren reprise their roles from earlier movies. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Andy Garcia, and Iko Uwais are recent additions to the cast.
The Expendables 4 will be released in theaters on September 22, 2023, ending the wait by a little under a year.
