In ‘The Equalizer 3‘—possibly the last installment of the franchise—Denzel Washington made his screen debut.

He’s back again! It was announced that Denzel Washington would reprise his role as Robert McCall in a third film, and now, after all these years, CinemaCon has given us our first look at The Equalizer 3. Beginning in 2014, the series expanded out into two motion pictures and a popular television program with Queen Latifah playing Robin McCall. All of this has contributed to creating a universe for The Equalizer that fans obviously adore exploring. A new trailer for the upcoming third movie in the franchise provides us with a preview of what to expect from the picture.
Despite the fact that we don’t know much about the third movie, it seems as though Dakota Fanning will be working with Washington in it, making it an unofficial sequel to Man on Fire. The third movie was released in 2018, Pedro Pascal played Dave York in the most recent movie, while David Harbour played Masters in the prior one.
The Equalizer is based on a TV series that debuted in the 1980s, but it has since come to be associated with Washington’s portrayal of the character. Additionally, the video played for CinemaCon showed Robert in Italy appearing to have stopped equalizing yet remaining just as vicious as before. The teaser builds on that material, giving viewers an even greater glimpse at what may be the franchise’s final installment.
Even while the action hero Washington is enough of a hook, it’s amazing to see Washington and Fanning reuniting after all these years. Fanning was around 10 years old in 2004 when Man on Fire was released. And fans have continued to return to it as a pillar of Washington and Fanning’s careers. Fans of The Equalizer franchise will therefore be especially excited to see them team up again for the third installment. And it’s a good thing that the movie seems to be violent as usual.
In cinemas on September 1, 2023, is The Equalizer 3. Check out the latest trailer below:
