Tom Holland is slated to star in and executive produce the imminent Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room, and fresh set photographs reveal Holland in a new light.
The actor was recently seen shooting in New York City, putting on a 1970s-era look, with long hair and bell-bottom trousers. Along with Holland, Sasha Lane — who will portray a character called Ariana in the series — also shows up in two of the images with him.

The 10-episode first season will be inspired in part by writer Akiva Goldsman‘s own life and by Daniel Keyes’ famous biography titled “The Minds of Billy Milligan,” which will be described as a riveting thriller.
The Crowded Room is an anthology series that delves into real stories of those who have “struggled and learnt to live effectively with psychiatric disorder.” Holland has taken on the main role as Danny Sullivan, a character partially inspired by Milligan, the first person to be acquitted of a crime owing to his multiple personality disorder (also known as dissociative identity disorder).
Akiva Goldsman, an Academy Award winner, is directing, writing, and executive producing The Crowded Room. Holland, Alexandra Milchan of EMJAG Productions, and Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer of New Regency serve as executive producers. Apple Studios collaborated with New Regency on the project.
