Amazon Studios has released a fresh new video showcasing the actors of the forthcoming The Boys spin-off as they reveal the official title, one week after the third season of the original series wrapped up with eight episodes. A superhero show set in a collegiate setting, now going by the title Gen V, is now in development.
Featuring in the spin-off are Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Shelley Conn, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, Derek Luh, London Thor, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pignatelli. The G-Men, a parody of the X-Men from the comic book series The Boys by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, served as a loose inspiration for the project.
Showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are in charge of Gen V’s executive production. Other executive producers include Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, Pavun Shetty, James Weaver, Garth Ennis, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Craig Rosenberg, Darick Robertson, Zak Schwartz, Michaela Starr, Erica Rosbe, and Brant Engelstein.
In collaboration with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film, Sony Pictures Television Studios and Amazon Studios are behind this show. Point Grey Pictures’ executive producer is Loreli Alans.
