To the surprise of fans, The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has revealed the name of the Season 4 finale episode. The image was posted on social media by Kripke, who also included a screenshot of the Season 4 script’s “Assassination Run” title page.

The episode was written by Jessica Chou and David Reed and will be directed by Kripke himself. With a title like that, you know it won’t all be candy, rainbows, and unicorns. However, the title has fans already speculating about what will happen in the final episode.
As Season 3 came to a close, Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) had lost and been returned to the ice. Billy Butcher, played by Karl Urban, was given the dire prognosis that he had 12 to 18 months to live since he had taken compound V to get ready to fight Supes. He returns to his original gang, The Boys, which now includes Annie (Erin Moriarty), who voluntarily left The Seven, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara). They appeared prepared for battle and to take the necessary action, in contrast to Homelander (Antony Starr), who was speaking to a group of Stormfront supporters and openly killed a man who threw an object that struck his son, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti). Crowd members cheered the destruction, while Ryan grinned nefariously.
The Season 4 finale episode of The Boys may feature a lot of bloodshed and destruction because both sides now have a vendetta against one another following the events of Season 3; nevertheless, we can only conjecture as to what Season 4 of The Boys may bring. Only time will tell. Fans are already anticipating a wild journey given The Boys’ predilection for gore and descruff. All that’s left for us to find out is when Season 4 will begin. Please stop making us laugh!
