The Boys‘ third season was a great hit when it debuted earlier this summer, and since the events of the season finale were set up for the fourth season, fans have been eagerly anticipating it. The upcoming season has been teased by the cast and crew for a few weeks now as filming has begun, and it appears that the season has now begun.
Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, made the formal start of filming for the fourth season known through Twitter. He also disclosed the name of the episode, “Department of Dirty Tricks,” which will be the opening episode of the fourth season.

By tweeting an old photo of the Seven from the first season, Homelander actor Antony Starr also revealed the beginning of the fourth season’s filming.
The news that production on the fourth season has begun is thrilling since it means that they are already working on the series’ next episode, which he will probably be able to view by the end of the year or early the next year.
It’s also fantastic that we know the title of the episode, even though it doesn’t necessarily give us any hints about what will happen other than the suggestion that the government is creating a new agency or that the word has a different connotation.
In any case, this is concrete proof that the fourth season is taking place, so we can kick back and relax while we wait for it to premiere, which should happen at least a year from now. The Boys‘ fourth season has not yet been given a release date by Amazon.
