
During today’s NFC Championship game, the first The Boogeyman trailer for the film adaptation of Stephen King’s short story was unveiled. On June 2, 2023, it will be exclusively available in theaters around the country.

The movie adaption was made by 21 Laps. Dan Cohen, Dan Levin, and Shawn Levy are the producers. As executive producers, Beck and Woods, who have been associated with the project since 2018, are in charge.
Yellowjackets’ Sophie Thatcher, Birds of Prey’s Chris Messina, Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Vivien Lyra Blair, The Umbrella Academy’s Marin Ireland, Bizaardvark’s Madison Hu, Vice’s LisaGay Hamilton, and David Dastmalchian star in The Boogeyman.

The Boogeyman, which was first published in the 1973 issue of Cavalier magazine, starts with a man telling his psychiatrist Dr. Harper about recent events in his life following the deaths of his children, who were slaughtered by a creature hiding in the closet. A later edition of the short story appeared in King’s Night Shift collection in 1978.
