Batman, you’ve got a crafty project on your hands!
The Corridor channel on YouTube has released a video that precisely and wonderfully merges footage from the legendary 1960s Batman series into The Batman feature teaser. The film is only 90 seconds long, but it feels much longer since it is so entertaining.
Burt Ward’s Robin makes an appearance with Adam West’s Batman. There are also a few of the TV series’ legendary villains to mirror the antagonists in Matt Reeves’ movie. Frank Gorshin’s Riddler and Burgess Meredith’s Penguin are among the villains. Paul Dano portrays the Riddler in The Batman.
The new trailer’s old school villains are fantastic, but West’s Batman bouncing around to evade gunfire is definitely the finest scene. The 1960s Batmobile, of course, looks fantastic in the video.
The Corridor video, which went up on Sunday, drew a lot of attention almost away, garnering over 500,000 views in only 24 hours. By Monday morning, it was one of YouTube’s most popular videos.
The Corridor team also shared a video of how they created their teaser alongside the trailer. They also discuss why they did it, which is basically joking about West being a fantastic actor whose drama talents for The Batman role have never been fully explored — until now.
