Sam Rockwell is not only playing the MCU’s most underappreciated villain, but he’s also portraying the big bad wolf (aka Mr. Wolf) who wants to do the right thing in the upcoming DreamWorks animated film The Bad Guys.
Mr. Wolf, played by Sam Rockwell, isn’t the only villain to get a decent poster. Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos), and Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina) were among Mr. Wolf’s coworkers who received their own posters. All of them are listed below in the DreamWorks Animation thread:
Mr. Wolf and his gang are obliged to do good in order to escape prison time in The Bad Guys, which is based on the Scholastic book series by Aaron Blabey. Mr. Wolf has no intention of doing good, but during the course of the film, he finds that instead of pickpocketing old ladies, he may get acceptance by assisting them. When a new villain arrives in town, Mr. Wolf’s change of heart is put to the test, and he must persuade his crew to break ‘good’ in order to stop them.
In addition to the performers listed above, The Bad Guys features Richard Ayoad as Professor Marmalade, an arrogant yet endearing guinea pig, as well as Zazie Beetz (Joker), Lilly Singh (Bad Moms), and Alex Borstein (Bad Moms) as voice actors (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel).
Pierre Perifel, a Kung Fu Panda animator, is directing the film, which is produced by Damon Ross (Trolls) and Rebecca Huntley (The Boss Baby). Aaron Blabey, Patrick Hughes, and Etan Cohen serve as executive producers.
On April 22, The Bad Guys will be released in cinemas.
