Lisa Loring passed away. She was best known for playing Wednesday Addams in the mid-1960s sitcom The Addams Family. She was 64.

On January 28, after the actor had been taken off life support due to “a big stroke,” Loring’s close friend Laure Jacobson posted on Facebook that she had passed away.
Following Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of the enduring character in the Netflix series, interest in Loring’s version of Wednesday Addams had recently increased. The original Wednesday was acted by Loring in the first live-action production of Charles Addams’ New Yorker cartoons. The two seasons of the show, from 1964 to 1966, resulted in the production of 64 episodes.
After leaving The Addams Family, Lisa Ann DeCinces Loring—who was born on February 16, 1958, in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands—appeared on a number of shows, including The Phyllis Diller Show, She played Cricket Montgomery on As the World Turns, Fantasy Island, Barnaby Jones, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., and The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. often.
Later, Loring reprised her role as Wednesday in the 1977 television film Halloween, which starred the New Addams Family. The 2015 film Doctor Spine featured her in her most recent acting performance.
