According to Nielsen’s newest streaming statistics, family-friendly films reigned supreme in all streaming content in mid-March.

For the week of March 14-20, Pixar/Disney’s Turning Red received a total audience of 1.67 billion minutes, up from 1.7 billion minutes the previous week, while Netflix’s original film The Adam Project premiered on Nielsen with a healthy 1.33 billion minutes of viewing time.

Turning Red and The Adam Project took the top spots on Nielsen’s overall streaming and movie charts, respectively.
Nielsen’s streaming ratings are based on television watching exclusively and do not include time spent on computers or mobile devices. The ratings are exclusive to the United States and presently only Apple TV+, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video are included in the rankings.
