This is what reconnects Adam along with his father Louis, who died when he was a child. When there’s only one kid involved, a reunion between father and son is traumatic enough, but Adam, 12, gets to come along as well. The teaser just shows a glimpse of his tear-streaked response to seeing his father again, but The Adam Project will almost certainly go into further detail about this reunion. Audiences should prepare for both tears and laughs.
The Adam Project appears to have it in spades when it involves the latter. The new teaser contains several amusing scenes, such as the conversation between the 2 Adams, within which the younger Adams insults his elder self. The Adam Project was destined to have some humor with Reynolds and Levy involved, and it’ll be fascinating to determine how the film mixes that with the darker themes.
