At Nightingale Hart, the fictional talent agency in Amazon and Sundance Now’s Ten Percent, there are no limits. Call My Agent!, a successful comedy in France, is being reimagined for a UK, Ireland, and US audience by the two networks. An official trailer has been produced to offer fans a taste of what’s to come.
The teaser shows a plot based on Nightingale Hart, a financially struggling talent agency for some of England’s biggest and brightest talents. While many people come to the agency in search of their next job, their personal lives are almost always entwined with the agency. A new lead has been sent to the company in the hopes of restoring order for the personnel and the high-profile clients they serve. As the crew of Nightingale Hart tries to cope with their newest leading member, deal with unusual customer contacts, and deal with interpersonal relationships while remaining professional, comedic shenanigans arise.
Did we mention that Dominic West, Kelly Macdonald, Emma Corrin, Helena Bonham Carter, David Harewood, Jessica Oyelowo, Clemence Poesy, Himesh Patel, David Oyelowo, Phoebe Dynevor, and Olivia Williams will all star in the series? It certainly will be! And those are just the celebrities who have been seen in the promo for the show.
Jack Davenport, Edward Bluemel, Natasha Little, Maggie Steed, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Lydia Leonard, Chelsey Crisp, Eleonore Arnaud, Hiftu Quasem, Rebecca Humphries, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Harry Trevaldwyn, Tim McInnerny, and Jim Broadbent are among the familiar faces from television and film who will bring the main cast together.
So, when and where can you see Amazon and Sundance Now’s latest comedic collaboration? Prime Video will premiere the series on April 28 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, while Sundance Now and AMC+ will premiere the series in the United States a day later, on April 29.
