Superman is here!

James Gunn, a co-head of DC Studios, has been promoting Superman: Legacy on his social media accounts.
James Gunn teased his upcoming DC Universe film about the Man of Steel by posting a comic book panel showing Superman flying through the air on Twitter this morning. Superman: Legacy is the name of the movie, which Gunn disclosed at the recent DC Universe slate announcement in Burbank, California. Below is a link to his Twitter post.
According to recent rumours, James Gunn is penning Superman: Legacy and will likely also helm the film. The current release date is set for July 11, 2025. With his human upbringing and “embodiment of truth, justice, the American way, and kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old fashioned,” Superman in the film strives to strike a balance between his Kryptonian background and his human upbringing.
According to James Gunn and Peter Safran, their plan for the DC Universe entails fixed screenplays, leeway, and a common plotline for all cinema, television, animation, and video game ventures. The two clarified that their eight-year plan is not a complete reboot because the DC Universe might bring back components from earlier DC eras.
At Warner Bros. Discovery, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Blue Beetle, The Flash, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are all in various stages of post-production. All four DC Universe films are expected to be released in theaters in 2023. Will those cinematic characters emerge in the new DC Universe? Just Gunn and Safran are aware.
