Screenplay writing on the final season of the smash Netflix series, Stranger Things, has kicked off.
The fourth season of Stranger Things hit Netflix earlier this year, followed by the last two episodes later in the summer. According to reports, the season notched up a tremendous success, becoming the most-watched English-language show on the streaming service. Now the series is inching towards its conclusion.
Before the premiere of the fourth season of Stranger Things, the show’s producers announced that the fifth season will be the last. The series debuted in 2016, and during each season, viewers saw the children on the series mature and move into new stages of their life. It’s now time to go to work on the final season of the program when the dust settles after season four.
The official Stranger Things writers’ Twitter account posted a picture in a recent tweet, showing a sketch of Stranger Things Season 5 with the text “Day 1” but did not disclose anything about the forthcoming season.
All four seasons are now available on Netflix.
