Stranger Things Unveils First Looks At Season 4

It’s only a matter of time until the Stranger Things saga brings us back to Hawkins with season 4, with the Duffer siblings’ Netflix smash hit making a comeback in May – and now, first looks at the upcoming episodes is unveiled through these newly released images of Jim Hopper (David Harbour), Eleven (Mille Bobby Brown), and the gang. Check it out:

Stranger Things Season 4 will kick off six months after the Starcourt mall battle at the end of Season 3 and will see our favorite D&D portrays Demogorgon-hunters scattered across four different locations around the world, including Russia, where we last left Hopper, and sun-drenched California, where Eleven relocated with Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Joyce (Winona Ryder), and Will (Noah Schnapp) after her power was lost her powers and Hopp is believed to be dead.

The new images feature a longer-haired Eleven alongside all of the show’s regulars – Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Robin (Maya Hawke), Mike (Wolfhard) and his sister Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Max (Sadie Sink), and Steve (Joe Keery) – as well as some new characters in the form of D&D Dungeon Master Eddie (Joseph). Additionally, we glimpse a shaven-headed Hopper who is still alive and well. It’s hard to tell just from the pictures what type of otherworldly shenanigans we might expect in this series, but the Duffers have promised that this run of episodes would have a much darker, “horror movie” atmosphere in an upcoming podcast Present Company With Krista Smith. It’s time to throw yourself into fear.

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 will premiere on Netflix on 27 May, followed by Volume 2 on 1 July. The fifth season will come after that, which was just announced to be the season wrapping up series.
