Sadie Sink, who plays Max on Stranger Things, has disclosed that she almost didn’t get the role.
Fans of Stranger Things Seasons 2 and 3 didn’t necessarily have a negative opinion of Max, but she wasn’t considered a fan favorite either. Sadie Sink’s performance in Episode 404, titled “Dear Billy,” is largely responsible for the widespread accolades received by her character in the fourth season. Many think that the actress was robbed of an Emmy nomination, and her sequence at the end of the episode in which Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” was extensively cialis overnight delivery featured is perhaps the most-discussed scene on television this year.
It has come to light that Sadie Sink nearly did not get the part of Max in the Netflix series Stranger Things. She remembered her audition process in a recent interview with Fashion Magazine, in which she discussed how she was told that she was “too old” for the role, despite the fact that she was just 14 years old at that time:
“I just begged and pleaded with them to give me more material so I could show them something fresh.”
After completing a chemistry test with Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink received word that she had been cast as Max in Stranger Things. Thank goodness Max became one of the emotional focal points of the whole series. particularly in Season 4, when her character reached new heights.
All four seasons are now available on Netflix.
