Netflix has unveiled the first official teaser for Stranger Things’ fourth season, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the show’s highly anticipated return. Pick up six months after the third season had wrapped up, we find the Hawkins squad still struggling with the fallout from the Battle of Starcourt, particularly Max, who is still mourning her brother Billy’s death. We also got a peek at Will and Eleven’s new lives when they relocated to a different town, as well as Hopper’s life as a prisoner in Russia, and we were given a hint that a fight against the Upside Down was on its way in Hawkins.
Take a look at the trailer below:

They also showed us what seems to be a flashback to a time when Eleven was still being experimented on under Dr. Martin Brenner’s supervision. Everything they’ve presented so far seems quite intriguing, and the lengthy wait for the fourth season may have been worthwhile in the end.
