After the release of its fourth season, “Stranger Things” has soared to the top of the rankings on Netflix.
The long-awaited return of one of Netflix’s most popular original series is finally here. Since 2020, the continuing epidemic has posed obstacles to the production of Stranger Things, leading the show to spend almost three years out of the limelight. Friday, however, marked the end of the wait for new episodes of Stranger Things, as a significant number of Season 4’s episodes touched down on Netflix. This past weekend, seven of the nine episodes of Season 4 were made available to watch through a streaming service, bringing fans back to the town of Hawkins after a long hiatus.
As you would expect, it didn’t take long for Netflix users to begin binge-watching Stranger Things at an astronomical pace. Fans have poured into the series since its release, propelling Stranger Things to the top of Netflix’s rotating rankings.
It should come as no surprise that Stranger Things reigns supreme on the Sunday edition of Netflix’s list of the ten most popular television series. Ozark and The Lincoln Lawyer have dominated the race for the last few weeks, but when Stranger Things made its long-awaited return, it was evident that none of those shows could hold a candle to its success.
