Stranger Things Season 4 posters have been released by Netflix. While the posters are fascinating on their own, when combined, they reveal fresh details about the characters’ impending adventures, as well as the enigmatic new creature from the Upside Down that they will all have to battle.
The posters reveal that the ensemble has been divided into four groups and will go on different excursions, all of which will be linked by a monster coming from the Upside Down.

The gang split up at the end of Season 3, with Eleven and the Byers heading to California, while Hopper, who survived the explosion in the season finale, was discovered to be a prisoner at a facility in Kamchatka, Russia. It’s unclear how he survived the blast or how he got to Russia.
David Harbour, the actor, previously hinted, “You’ve seen that there is a Demogorgon in this prison from last season… I think they also referenced Alien 3, I think it was the Finch Alien, where they’re trapped in a prison with a monster. There’s an escape, Hopper trying to get home to his family element to it, which is really incredible. It’s an incredible storyline. I think I have the best storyline.”
Stranger Things producers Matt and Ross Duffer recently confirmed the forthcoming season’s large length, requiring the dual release. Season 4 of Stranger Things will be published in two parts. Volume 1 will be available for streaming on May 27, with Volume 2 following on July 1. Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding, according to the Duffer brothers in a letter. “With nine scripts, over eight hundred pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one,” they wrote.
Furthermore, the show’s creators have announced that there will only be one more season before Stranger Things comes to an end. They said, “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things… At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but — as you’ll soon see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; season 5 will be the last.”
