Disney+ has officially announced the release date for the forthcoming second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. The second season of The Bad Batch is set to hit the streaming platform on September 28, according to a banner on Disney+’s homepage.
We’ve known for quite some time that Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 would be rolled out this autumn, but “fall” is somewhat vague. Now that the particular release date has been determined, we can be certain that there will be Star Wars-related series on television between now and autumn, even if it is still a few months away.
The banner for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 may be seen in the content scroll bar above the Disney+ home screen. The most recent The Bad Batch Season 2 teaser gives viewers a peek of how the newly established Clone Force 99 (with the addition of young Omega, who finally came into her own) is transitioning from being chased by the newly founded Empire to being an early rebel cell.
From the teaser, Season 2 will have even more action and adventure than Season 1, and we know that there will be a time leap that sets the future series and its events in the “Rise of the Empire” period of the Star Wars chronology.
