Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be coming soon, and now new character posters have been released so that we can explore it more! When we clearly witness a new look at Anson Mount as Captain Pike (who I warmly call Hot Pike), we also have another look at Ethan Peck (who I warmly call Hot Spock) as Spock. But more importantly, new posters help us to dive into a new era of Star Trek through new characters.
Fans of the franchise will definitely have an exciting time when a large amount of Star Trek content has been coming continuously. Furthermore, these posters show a glance at the creation of some new characters and several old faces that are heading to the new series. Actually, a project where Pike plays as a center is interesting because we know about the past that the character has within the original series.
When various looks for characters are revealed by character posters, with Star Trek we obviously enjoy information regarding their uniforms. However, it’s definitely a great present for fans as we are looking forward to Strange New Worlds’ release day on May 5. From Bruce Horak‘s Hemmer to Jess Bush‘s Nurse Christine Chapel, it appears like the crew of the Enterprise.
It’s inspirational to see some of the beloved characters living again in these posters. When Mount’s Pike and Peck’s Spock have appeared in Star Trek thanks to Star Trek: Discovery, our heroes are brought to life by some new faces. For instance, Celia Rose Gooding plays Nyota Uhura, who was first taken by Nichelle Nichols before Zoe Saldaña took her role in the Kelvin-verse movies.
Dr. M’Benga is played by Dune’s Babs Olusanmokun; additionally, the posters show an image of a strong and poised doctor alongside Melissa Navia’s Lt. Erica Ortegas. We should mention Rebecca Romijn who plays Una Chin-Riley (or Number One as she was known from Star Trek: Discovery).
Eventually, fans can catch Star Trek: Strange New Worlds in less than a month and these posters are completely stunning. Does that mean it’s going to be a comfortable trip through space, the last boundary for the crew of the Enterprise? It’s possibly not if it’s Star Trek; nevertheless, we can’t wait to see the team.
