Knowing the cast and crew of Star Trek: Picard Season 2 before it premieres on Paramount+ on March 3, 2022, can be quite beneficial. Some of the cast members are returning after a lengthy absence, while others are newcomers who we are only starting to know. This new series will challenge our understanding of Star Trek history by setting the franchise in the twenty-first century, a time period that is quite familiar to us.
Sir Patrick Stewart portrays Jean-Luc Picard

Sir Patrick Stewart makes his return as Jean-Luc Picard, the iconic Captain of the Starship Enterprise. Patrick Stewart continued to appear in roles such as Professor X in the X-Men movies after his time on Star Trek: The Next Generation from 1987 to 1994 and the subsequent films in 1996, 1998, and 2002. Patrick Stewart returns to the Star Trek Universe in 2020, and he’s even signed on for a third season, which will last until 2023.
Jean-Luc Picard has aged considerably since his previous appearance, although he is now a perfectly healthy older Terran man following the events of Picard Season 1. Picard’s past with Q adds to the intrigue of this new season since the nefarious Q has always had a fascination with time travel. We’ll soon see how the aging Admiral (ret.) Picard inspires a new crew throughout time and space, thanks to the creation of various new histories and alternate futures.
Dr. Agnes Jurati is played by Alison Pill

Alison Pill is a Canadian actress who debuted on-screen in 1993 and has since starred in films such as The Newsroom and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Her most significant achievement was on Broadway when she earned a Tony Award for her performance in The Lieutenant of Inishmore. While she has been confirmed to return in Season 2 of Picard, the number of episodes she will appear in is yet unknown.
Dr. Jurati is a robotics specialist, and while she wasn’t always on board with Picard, she now appears to be fully devoted following the conclusion of Picard. She’s seen in a number of sequences in the trailers, and we can anticipate the lovely scientist with no street smarts to continue on her entertaining adventure.
Cristóbal Ros is played by Santiago Cabrera

Santiago Cabrera is a Chilean actor who has worked in both the United States and the United Kingdom throughout his career. Lancelot in Merlin and Aramis in The Musketeers are two of his most well-known performances. From 2000 to 2003, Santiago Cabrera studied acting at the Drama Centre London, which served as the foundation for his career. Cabrera has also appeared in television shows, films, video games, and theater performances, in addition to the roles mentioned above.
Cabrera played Cristóbal Ros, the captain and owner of the ship La Sirena on which the crew sailed. Cristóbal Ros, a former Star Fleet officer, is no longer on the straight and narrow. Picard has used this ability on several occasions, and with the move to a new timeline, these abilities may become even more valuable.
Soji played by Isa Briones

Isa Briones is an actress from the United States who gained prominence after starring in the film Picard. She began her career in musical theater, performing in Miracle on 34th Street and traveling with the Hamilton productions. Her performance in Next to Normal earned her an Ovation Award.
Despite the fact that her acting career has been brief, her performance in Picard Season 1 was outstanding. Despite the fact that Soji was a prominent character in the first season, we haven’t seen much of him in the Season 2 marketing materials. We’ll see what she comes up with for the next season.
Jeri Ryan in the role of Seven of Nin

Jeri Ryan is an American actress best known for her performance as Seven of Nine in Star Trek: Voyager, for which she received four Saturn Award nominations and one win. She’s been acting since 1991, appearing in shows including Dark Skies, Boston Public, and Body of Proof.
Jeri Ryan appeared in Picard Season 1 again, but she was not a series regular. Seven of Nine has had a difficult time integrating out of Star Fleet and has become a touch rough around the edges. Picard may require someone with a hard edge in Season 2 when they are compelled to go across time.
Q is played by John de Lancie

Since 1975, John de Lancie has worked as an actor in films and television programs. He is most known for his roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Day of Our Lives as Q and Eugene Bradford, respectively. He has received several nominations for his acting and voice acting, for his part in Day of Our Lives, he earned the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Serial as a supporting character.
John de Lancie returns as Q, and he’ll most certainly be up to his normal heinous antics. We’ve already seen at least two-time changes in the trailers, as well as a meeting with Picard. Q will definitely be at the center of whatever the following season brings.
Guinan is played by Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg is a multi-award-winning actress who has won Emmys, Grammys, Academy Awards, and Tony Awards. She began performing in 1989 and is most known for her performances and appearances on The View, The Color Purple, and Sister Act.
Guinan will be played by Whoopi Goldberg again. Guinan originally appears in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and has since been known to provide wise counsel to Picard and others. Guinan is far older than most people realize, and he has ties to both the Borg and Q. This past appears to be at the forefront of Picard’s upcoming season, and we may finally learn how Guinan came to be who she is.
