A Florida fan has smashed the global record for the most viewings of Spider-Man: No Way Home with 292 times.

Especially when it comes to new films in popular series such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s normal for fans to revisit the movie numerous times during their first viewings in cinemas. It is fair to say that repeat viewings are a big part of what leads to the recurring box office success of films like The Matrix. During the film’s run, Spider-Man: No Way Home smashed a number of box office records, but one, in particular, stood out for the case of this Florida fan.

Ramiro Alanis set a Guinness World Record for the most cinema productions visited for the same picture, having seen Spider-Man: No Way Home 292 times between December 16, 2021, and March 15, 2022. This achieves a total runtime of 720 hours, or 30 days, according to Guinness World Records.

Prior to Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ramiro Alanis held the record with 191 theater viewings of Avengers: Endgame in 2019. That record was later broken by Arnaud Klein, who viewed Kaamelott: First Installment 204 times.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland portrays the iconic title wall-crawler, while Doctor Strange is played by Benedict Cumberbatch. A script co-written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers served as the basis for the film, which was directed by Jon Watts. Jon Watts helmed the film, which Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote and co-wrote.

Additionally, it stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress (Tag), as well as the returning of familiar faces Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.

Next Spider-Man film production is now actively kicked off by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Sony Pictures, and Marvel Studios.

The film has now earned over $1.8 billion globally at the box office.
